Carpet or vinyl for a playroom?

Carpet. Put a mat under a table if there will be painting going on.

Vinyl and a washable rug, speaking from a childminder's perspective 🙂.

Carpet with underfloor heating.

But we do messy play in the kitchen diner on the tiled floor!

So I suppose it depends how you intend to use it!

Vinyl. A good quality one, and washable rugs or bean bags for a bit of softness if you fancy.

How old are the DC? We moved from wood to carpet as DC got older.

Vinyl. We Changed The Living Room, Dining Room And Kids Room From Carpet To Vinyl As Thats The Rooms The Kids Use Most. It Looks Really Nice and Easier To Clean If They Make A Mess. However It Depends On The Furnishings Of The Room. Carpet Could Look Nicer But You Could Get A Rug For The Vinyl
