Tongue and groove and metro tiles?

I was thinking of having tongue and groove around the bathroom walls in a sage green colour and white metro tiles around the bath/shower area, is this too much? Will it be two styles meshed together and look a mess? I

It'll look lovely as long as you don't go for contrast grout I think
