Pleased with your bathroom tile choices?

Can’t seem to decide on tile colours or patterns for a bathroom update. Getting overwhelmed with all the choices and the fact it’s an expensive mistake if I get it wrong! What wall and floor tiles have you chosen for your lovely bathrooms?

We are just about finished our bathroom and have chosen dark green metro tiles. I had my reservation when seeing them lying on the floor before they were put on but I absolutely love them now. I can't wait for it to be finished

Following as we are updating our shower room soon and I am currently trying to pick tiles. Most of our house is grey or neutral so I want some colour in this room. These are some of my ideas ... I think I am leaning towards a patterned floor tile with a plain wall tile!

We have large matt warm grey tiles on floor and in shower. Then marble chevron mosaic tiles on the wall behind the vanity. In the other bathroom we have matt white elongated brick shape tiles on the walls and then a large terrazzo look tile on the floor and in the shower.

I like neutral calm bathrooms so tend to avoid strong colours and patterns - I’m not in step with fashion at the moment!

Lemib terrazzo tiles by Mandarin Stone on my new shower room floor and on one wall. The other 3 walls have plain white tiles. All terrazzo would be too busy. They are both matt so look good with other. The tile shop guy matched the plain one for me.

They all sound lovely! I’m not brave enough to do colour and have been looking at neutrals and greys. Bought some sample grey stone effect tiles but they look too blue or dark when I get them home. Am overthinking as usual which is why nothing ever gets done! Although I do love this...

I was swithering about doing white tiles and going all white but I decided to be brave and give the green a go.
Although we have just come back from a weeks self catering and both bathrooms were neutral and it was really calming.

I like the photo you have posted up.
If you were feeling brave you could always go neutral for the main fittings (tiles and floor) then sometimes brighten it up with colourful towels or bath mat or other accessories.

But in truth, I like the neutral but grey/blue in that photo.

@Breathmiller I’ve seen some beautiful photos of bathrooms with dark green metro tiles today, complimented by pale pink with gold accessories! I really wish I was confident enough to do something like that but I can’t even get the right ‘grey’ on a neutral tile! 🤦‍♀️
