Help me find a bathroom colour!

After waiting for months to DH to repaint the house, I’ve decided to make a start myself.

The bathroom looks like a straightforward starting place. The current paint is a bit too yellowey so I bought some tester pots that I thought would be more of the light brown/grey colour that I’m after. A light mushroom type thing.

Both are in the Dulux bathroom range. Soft stone is too pinky. Egyptian Cotton is too grey.

I want to get cracking tomorrow and have time for one trip to the shops so I need to make a decision!! Can anyone suggest a colour that might fit the bill please?

Natural hessian (Dulux)? It’s a bit like a paler, less pinky Soft Stone. But it difficult to tell unless you’re going to try a tester pot.

Thanks. I bought a couple more testers this morning but I’ve still not got it right. It’s not cheap being indecisive!

To be honest I have had a few colours over the years...and which one works best is white. Bright, light, clean and never goes out of fashion at the end of the day.

I’d never get DH to agree to white.....
