Pic attached of curtains and sofa colour . Room is south facing playroom for a boy & a girl. I was thinking a warm grey but open minded .. suggestions please. I will be buying at B&Q and won't be able to buy F&B due to budget. Rest of furniture is white and a grey sofa. Room quite small.

Dulux pebble shore?

Imtoooldforallthis · 24/09/2020 09:52

You need a grey with some warmth in it, maybe Dulux polished pebble.

hahahahahelp · 24/09/2020 10:02

I'm a bit scared of grey as like warm colours , but with the colours in the retro curtains I don't think I have many other options ?! Maybe a beiges grey ? Greige?

I've just painted our playroom...we went for dulux Jurassic stone. It's like a beige/grey...I love it.

Cherry321 · 24/09/2020 10:40

If you’re not fixed in grey - how about yellow or a light terracotta?

Wobbitcatcher · 24/09/2020 10:52

I love just walnut but you need a tester as it was a gorgeous grey in one room and a yellow beige in another so very light dependant

nancytree3 · 24/09/2020 10:54

I have a room in pebble shore and rock salt.

Rock salt is a cool blue toned white

Pebble shore is warm beige / grey colour and lovely IMO

hahahahahelp · 24/09/2020 11:14

@Cherry321 it is currently light yellow .. not sure if terracotta would be too orangey as we have a new wooden floor -oak and an orange rug. I have a love of orange and sometimes I feel like I live in the 70s Grin.

@nancytree3 very helpful

@Wobbitcatcher ohhh well I have light yellow at the moment, but it doesn't go that well. The room is quite bright as get the sun all morning and most of the day.
