A nice desk?

I don't buy furniture very often. I need some inspiration as to where to shop.

I need a new desk.

I'm drawn to vintage or antique ones on eBay. But experience tells me they aren't always suitable for modern working. (My current very pretty desk I can't get my knees under! 🤦🏻‍♀️)

John Lewis is my usual "go to". But I'm not really feeling the love enough to buy anything.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Loaf has some nice desks, I've been eyeing up their 'flapper' desk for a while, its got a bit of a vintage feel to it too loaf.com/products/fab-flapper-dressing-table

I’d probably have a day out somewhere with a lot of antique shops to actually try the desks. If it’s proving too much hard work, then Oka might have sth smart or Maisons Du Monde is quite good.

Swoon has some nice ones. but very long lead times for many.
