F&B Skylight or Borrowed Light for Hallway?

We're finally having our hall / stairs / landing properly decorated more than 3 years after we bought our house. I quite like Skylight, but DH likes Borrowed Light. Has anyone used either of these colours?

I tried both Skylight and Borrowed Light in my hallway. In the end I went for Borrowed Light, as Skylight looked a bit dirty in my hallway.

It may look different in yours though, depending on light levels and light direction. My hallway is pretty light, but most of the light is coming from a north-east facing window, which really highlights cooler tones

As a result Borrowed light looks very fresh and clean in my hallway. I really like it, but it’s definitely not a cosy colour.

Not sure if that’s any help, or just confuses matters more? 😂

@Crazzzycat that's really helpful thank you! It's all white at the moment, which feels too bright and looks grubby at the same time 😏

Our light comes into the hallway:

South East - front door
South West - side window
North West - kitchen door

Upstairs the light comes in the same side as the side window, but also from the bedrooms at the front and back.

I've tried looking on Pinterest, but I just go down a rabbit hole and can't actually just see a photo of a hallway in either of those colours!

Borrowed Light is gorgeous, we used it in sons north east facing room. It’s lovely, fresh and light...worked wonders in that room as it had little natural light.
