We are refurbishing the lounge and currently have vertical blinds on 1 large floor to ceiling window and 1 large patio door. The blinds are useful for blocking the sun, especially when watching TV or films on a drop down screen.
Out layout means curtains wouldn’t work, no room for them to be pushed back with the amount of material required and the place of screens etc.
I have seen Allusion blinds online, never in reality, and like the fact they look more like curtains. If you have them, do they work well as light blockers when needed? Also, they appear to be a mesh type material and I am worried about them becoming a dust trap? Is that a problem? Are they washable?
