At the moment I have white gloss kitchen cupboards and I’m thinking of replacing them with paintable vinyl, and having them painted. There’s an F&B colour I particularly like (Teresa’s Green). However, my kettle is on the worktop right under one of the cupboards, and there’s nowhere to put the kettle that would not be under a cupboard. I’m wondering whether steam from the kettle would make the paint on the cupboard peel. Does anyone have experience of this? If I used F&B paint, I guess it would be Modern Emulsion or Modern Eggshell. Would one of these be a good choice, or would a different brand/type of paint be best?
