‘Warm tone’ cream

How do you decorate around it?!

Have a fabric bed which is a warm toned cream and warm toned cream curtains but struggling to find colours that ‘go’.

DH wanted pale lilac and grey but being ‘cold toned’ colours they just look completely and utterly wrong!

A pale blue would look lovely with a warm cream, maybe offer that as a compromise?

Go onto the Dulux website & have a look at their colour charts for inspiration. Do you have a carpet or wooden flooring?

I would like a soft green, maybe sage or jade. Or possibly warm yellow tones like the Golden Bark 6. Or simply stick to warm cream & accent with stronger colours in cushions, throws, rugs.

I like a calming bedroom so would avoid large areas of strong reds, orange & purples. Fine to accent with though.

DH mentioned a pale blue earlier actually!

We have a dark wood floor and yes, I too love a nice pale green

Have a look at Dulux Soft Eden and Grecian Garland 5, or the slightly darker & more sage Granada 4 or 5. I think any of those would complement your room without being overbearing and would be good against brilliant white woodwork. You could accent with slightly darker green in a throw & cushions. A green & cream rug would tie everything in nicely.
