Large kitchen with large terracotta clay tiles. Not antique-y old, or charming, just cheapo tiles. Would love to replace but upheaval of lifting the floor (and moving cast iron range and kitchen units) and the cost to replace with e.g. natural stone or wood flooring is rather prohibitive. Has anyone had any success with painting floor tile, or using a modern day version of (roll) vinyl flooring? Adding more than a few mm on top of existing tiles would cause problems so click flooring not an option. Infortunately I dont have a spare tile to test paint. Have googled this to death ☹️ TIA
