Best places for brown leather sofas?

other than DFS is there any large stores that do a good range of actually nice brown leather sofas??

Need some where where we can sit and try sofas out.

Any where I have looked has either poor quality or poor choices.

Hmm,,so you can avoid them? Do avoid the ubiquitous shiny brown ones op, the stained ones can be lovely though.

Well, we have just bought one! Against the mumsnet grain it seems. Ours is from SCS, g plan brown leather sofa. It also an electric recliner so it might not be quite what you had in mind. We are enjoy g it so far, but then it did cost a lot.

Darlings of Chelsea have a few showrooms dotted about. I bought a leather sofa from them 6 years ago, still looks great.

We got ours from sofology although it was csl back then as they are nearly 10 years old. They've held up pretty well until the last year considering we've had 2 kids since getting them and they are not gentle kids... they are the kind that think dive bombing the sofa is a great way to spend the morning

The natural leather sofas can be lovely though.

A second vote for Darlings of Chelsea. We bought our brown leather sofa (not shiny!) from there 8 years ago and it's lovely. They had many different options for colour and quality of leather for each sofa style and gave really great advice. The sofa has held up well against the demands of a small child and a dog.

can you remember what the lead times were like?

I daren't tell you the colour of the sofa we've just bought if brown leather is supposed to be only fit for landfill 🤣
Try Lee Longlands, they had a huge range with loads of different colour choices when we looked. Good quality and reasonable prices too.

I don't recall the lead time sorry. Might be worth giving them a call. They were really very helpful.

The one that gets sat on the most is showing its age, the cushions have lost a lot of their bounce/fullness and because they are integrated into the structure they can't be fixed. Looks fine but not as comfortable any more. Sofa is six years old, which I think isn't that old really. Be interesting to see others' recommendations.

CUTE! Nice try but with current covid situ all furniture has crazy lead times and back log's.. Friend recommended I asked on here.

Instant regret as I now see how many smart arse's who have nothing better to do with their evenings than try catch people out and or put them down.

The amount of rudeness on here is insane. We are all human beings.
