Easier way to sugar soap a ceiling?

Has anyone ever come up with a better way of sugar soaping a ceiling rather than standing up a ladder and soaping it with a sponge? I'm wondering if I could do it with a sponge mop to make it slightly less unpleasant than usual!

Don't think I've ever washed a ceiling tbh

Only thing you don't want is bits coming off and sticking to the ceiling.

Other thing are platforms you can buy, like half a meter or whatever to give you the extra reach, and can walk along them etc
