I'm ordering these two today. We've just moved and are re decorating but I'm just not sure what colour to pair with these two for the walls etc. It's a south facing wall with a fireplace if that helps!

Hmm, 2 different shades of green, nice.

I think I’d either

  1. Go contrasting - say, shades of purple on the walls (perhaps a dark & lighter shades to mirror the dark & light sofas) and another highlight colour featuring in the ‘small’ decor/cushions etc, perhaps a metallic, like bronze or gold, or something bright and almost clashing like fuschia or teal...
  1. Go bold & co-ordinated with a loud botanical/jungle large scale wallpaper (shades of green base with various colourful flowers/birds that would give you other colours you could pick up on in the cushions/throws etc), other walls in a plain green colour matched to the wallpaper

Or

  1. Go very clean/neutral base - white/off white walls, floaty white drapes, natural wood textures in the other furnishings, and let the sofas themselves be the only/main colour focus in the room.

Or some kind of eclectic combination of the above 3 🤷🏻‍♀️ but my taste may not be MN approved!

A dusky rose or a mauve.

2nd vote for dusky rose, I love the dark green/pale pink combo

White.

They're bold coloured sofas so I'd stick with neutral colours, probably just white and could have a nice green wall where the fireplace is then some different coloured home accessories.

Like Lemonylemon said, either a pale neutral pink (the easy to live with option) or go bold with a strong wall/woodwork colour, I'd go blues and greens.

Love that paler green sofa in particular.

A really light warm colour.

Neutral paint, and some botanical/birdy/William Morris wallpaper somewhere. Then cushions etc picking out a colour of the wall paper.

Or is that about 20 years out of date?

I have a couple of similarly coloured sofas in our sitting room, cushions are just H and M

Ah brilliant thank you all! We did want to incorporate some mustard, navy and pinks so this we may do the walls a dusky pink with some other colours thrown in in the form of rugs/curtains etc!
