Floor tile for kitchen and garden

We are trying to decide on a porcelain floor tile for our new kitchen extension. It is tricky becuase we are having bifolds and want the same tile on the patio so need a tile which works with both. We have narrowed it down to 2, one of which my OH likes and one which I like.

Which do people think looks best? The kitchen will be large and modern with black aluminium windows, a mix of graphite and wooden cupboards and white quartz worktops.

We are worried the grout in the paler tiles on the left will show up any dirt but that the darker tile will make the room too dark. Although the room is south facing it is quite shaded by trees. What do people think? (The two tiles on the left are the same tile)

I personally love the white ones

Use epoxy grout, doesn't get dirty and have what you want.

Difficult when you have different preferences.
Also hard to make any preference on the pictures, they both look blue indoors and white outside.

I have just done this with wood effect porcelain grey tiles. Looked amazing when it was laid and it is an absolute nightmare to keep clean. I have another patio with normal kind of outdoor tiles which always look clean whereas the ones which run from the kitchen are terrible. I brush, mop, pressure wash, hose my patio every day.

That is a good idea about the epoxy grout Mosaic, I will have a word with our tiler.

That is a bit concerning icedancelenny. Why do you think they are hard to keep clean? Are yours a pale colour? I though porcelain was meant to be easy to clean becuase it is impervious.

Love the pale ones, but like both. In my mind your space is so light so I do see a pale floor to really bounce the light.

Thanks slightly. That is good becuase I ordered 80m2 of the light ones this morning! How is your build getting on? Are you still waiting until mid sept for your tiles?

They won't look the same inside to out - your inside ones get mopped and hoovered etc - your outside ones get rained on and mud washed over

I honestly wouldn't do think. Choose complementary tiles and line them up if you want to give continuity but they won't look the same and you will compromise on both.

They don't even look the same tiles in the photos!
