Green metro tiles

We are currently without a bathroom, total overhaul.

Its fairly small but has two windows so good enough light.

I have bought white metro tiles (and a traditional roll top bath) but I am really drawn to the green metro tiles i see online and would like to swap them.

I'm not sure how to link to ones I like but it's kind of old victorian hospital green, fairly dark.

The plan is just to half tile the bathroom, full height round the bath half height to sink and loo.

Does anyone have this colour of tiles in their bathroom and would like to show photos?

why not all white and a border of green? All green might be a bit much for a small room. You can always accessorise with other green things. White is clean and airy for a bathroom, at least i think so anyway Smile

I know exactly the tiles you mean. I haven't used them so can't show you a picture but I reckon they'd look amazing as you describe.

If you go on to Pinterest and search you’ll find lots of images. I am a huge fan of bold colours and doing whatever you want in your own home, but personally that dark green metro tile does put me in mind of pub toilets, to be honest - I’d suggest perhaps going for a more emerald/jade green, laying it in a diagonal herringbone pattern or choosing a different shape tile say longer/thinner than metro tiles to avoid the pub loo association! Contrary to other poster though I do think if you want to do colour, go for it, and don’t worry about it being “too much”. It’s usually “not enough” IMO!!!
