IKEA Kallax question

Hi there, do any ikea experts know if I can get two kallax units and place one on top of the other , except have the top one facing to another side so for the example the bottom one would be North to South and the top one East to West.
I’m basically trying to make a sort of bedside cabinet so the top cube is like a shelf beside the bed and can be reached without having to lean out so to speak

There’s a slight difference in measurement between the depth and width, but it might work ok if you don’t mind that.

There's a Facebook group called something like "ikea hacks" who may be able to advise?

Their new one called the eket is a perfect cube, that might work better than the kallax?
