What colour white for a south facing bedroom?

Teenage DD has requested plain white walls but I don’t want it to be too stark.
Any recommendations please?

The fitted wardrobes are painted white and the bed is being replaced (by a white one apparently Hmm so no other colours to work around.

TIA

Used jasmine white and my adult student son loves it.

Thank you onlinelinda. I’ve now picked up a colour chart; the jasmine looks quite yellow here. Is your son’s room south facing?

Stone white (by crown paints I think). South facing. Perfect for our south facing rooms. Linen white is nice but it's a little more creamy than white.

I used rock salt by dulux and pretty much can’t tell the difference between that and the brilliant white on the ceiling.

Shirting by Little Greene

It is almost exactly the same as Trade White by Johnstones so that would be a much cheaper option! But Shirting is a bit nicer IMO

Pointing by F&B is also nice but a bit creamier

Go with white. Firstly it's what your DD would like, and secondly it probably won't look stark because the curtains, bedding, carpet and pictures/posters on the wall will probably all be other colours.

I've got Pointing (F&B) in my south-facing hallway. It's okay but I find it a bit yellow. White Whisper by Dulux is gorgeous.

Much appreciated
