Teen attic space

If you were turning a (painted and carpeted) attic space into a room for a teen what would you include?

A couple of things - there's a steep staircase up to the room through a hatch, there's a window in the gable end, there's a small amount of eaves storage.

You can stand comfortably in the middle of the room but not at the edges.

It has power, light and a radiator.

It isn't going to be a bedroom except for an occasional guest.

Sofa bed, decent sized mini fridge, tv with media drawers to keep consoles tidy, bean bags, coffee table with storage for board games/hobby items, some shelving for books. I’d also make sure there is a bin, and something to keep dirty dishes in such that they bring them downstairs sooner rather than later.

Thanks I was thinking futon for sofa bed. A desk to do homework (no space in bedroom). Fridge is a great idea
