Colour scheme help please

We have recently bought a house in need of redecoration abd are ready to do our bedroom. I never would have thought of green, but I really enjoy the green colour scheme it already has. I have attached a picture.

The other picture is of my grey ottoman, the curtains I have found which are closest to the original green (they are not that shiny in fact) and the fawn carpet which I don't like but can't afford to change.

Could you recommend a paint colour to go with this colour scheme. We live rurally and only really have Dulux and Crown available.

I would like a green but could be persuaded to a pink or cream.

Or is there an app that could help me out? I tried the dulux visualiser but found it fairly useless.

Use your large vase as your palette

You can get colour wheels online they match an existing colour with suggestions for matches or opposites

They are very useful

In general, find the colour you like and go a shade lighter

Or sometimes I look on sites like farrow and Ball to identify a similar colour and then see what trio of colours they suggest-there are several trios per colour.

Personally I'd go with a very light neutral such as Wimborne White or Dulux Timeless, as those are three quite definite and separate colours.

I find pinterest really difficult. I can see a colour I like but when I move to colour charts I can't tell if the colour i like matches. Or, a friend suggested colours that 'had a lot of white in them' but they all looked pale orange to me. I am not colourblind but I think I am definitely colour ignorant.

Everyone sees colour differently. It is quite interesting if you look into it. I think a very pale green could look lovely it depends on the room. Your vase is gorgeous.

Dulux used to do a room colour visualiser, not sure if they still do worth checking out.
