Painting /interior advice please

I'm repainting an office. The walls/ceiling will be F&B All White. The floors will be a charcoal black. What colour should I paint the skirtings? White or the black? It's not a big room.

If you google white walls black floor it brings up lots of images and they all have white skirting.

I couldn’t visualise Black skirting so googled.

So I think white skirting.

Black skirting and architraves. I’m planning a similar look in my sons room - with a black radiator, black replacement sash window and if I get my way shutters, too. It’s a light room, though.

The room is small and not hugely light. That said, it's an odd shape, so you won't massively notice the skirtings. I'll have a try, see what looks best

I am a traditionalist so think I would stick to white skirting for the contrast especially if the room is small and not that light.
