Company that sell, measure and fit curtains?

I'm looking for a company who sell curtains but also offer a measuring and fitting service too.

I've used Hillary's before but had a bad experience and don't want to use them again.

I've looked online but I'm struggling to find something. Any ideas?

Ask around for recommendations and try to find a small business local to you, it’ll be cheaper and better.

I’ve used the likes of John Lewis and Marks in the past. Now use a local curtain shop. The owner is justifiably very proud of the skills of his “girls” (all women who’ve been with him for years). There’s far more choice of fabrics with expert advice available too. Wish I’d found them years ago.

I’m an interior designer and I do sell custom soft furnishings nationally and offer local measure and fitting. My recommendation is to try a local independent store, if you need assistance I can point you in the right direction. They’ll really appreciate your business right now and to be honest the quality will be so much better than a larger company who may offer similar. Usually local stores will have pattern books for you to go through and select fabric, arrange a measure and also fit. Make sure they steam and train your curtains too!

I had a bad experience with John Lewis a couple of years ago; there customer service has gone to the dogs. I have since used a local company and it was a dream; can borrow pattern books, pop in the shop anytime, easily phone them. Wish I’d used them years ago.

Thank you, great advice. Looks like I'll be going on the hunt for a local independent company. I'm in South Wales if anyone has any recommendations?

Have you tried Leekes?

@WellTidy I haven't, but I will. Thanks!

I think Dunelm do them, and also Plumbs.

Plumbs do a home consultancy service. Not sure how that work in the midst if a pandemic though.
