It’s not too bad. I’ve used worse paints.

I used it last year for my mum's bedroom. It took two coats and looks great.

The one coat stuff is brilliant. I prefer it to Dulux. Still needs 1 good coat of cutting in and 2 coats of rollering but the finish is good.

IMO cheap own brand paints are poor value for money. They are OK, but not great. They aren't as easy to use and you often need more coats than you think you need. The saying buy cheap, buy twice comes to mind here.

You are far better going to a decorating centre (not a DIY shop) and buying decent quality paint on the first place. I always use the Crown Decorating Centre near me. Professional decorators use them as well.

Wilco Easycare paint (kitchen & bathroom) is on par with Dulux. I've used both in the past 2 months and can vouch for it.
Have also used Johnstone's and Valspar; and found them both to be awful.

*Wilko

Yes... have used their kitchen/bathroom range.

Can’t tell the difference between that and Dulux. I think it’s great.

I agree with Gin, it's not good quality. Just painted 3 walls of a room with it as couldn't get any thing else during lockdown and thought it was awful. Did the 4th wall last week with Dulux paint and it was a dream. Finish is as good with the Wilko paint but took lots more effort!

It's okay but it will take a few coats! B&Q Valspar paint was great to paint with, no effort required and could have easily got away with one coat

I'd say it was on par with Dulux. I do a lot of decorating and did my living room with it about 18 months ago and it was fine.

I used Wilko's emulsion and gloss recently and needed 3 coats, whereas Dulux would have only needed 2. I won't be buying Wilko's own again.

You could try Wickes paint. I used it over Xmas to freshen up the house and it looks brilliant.

I've used Wilko paint and it was fine. It was kitchen paint and lasted years.

It’s my favourite! Similar to Dulux and better than crown in my experience, goes on really nicely and goes along way, we ended up taking paint back as used a lot less than the tubs said we needed 😊
