Curtains tie backs; yes or no..pic attached

Bought some lovely curtains and can't decide whether to tie back or not..opinions please.

It's really hard to tell from that picture because how they sit at the top would dictate whether they look good tied back or not.

I think it depends how long they are, too. If they go to the carpet, I’d tie them back

Have you seen the toilet roll tube trick to make them sit perfect on the rail?

I wouldn't tie them becaue I don't think there enough width to make it sit quite right that way

With your blinds I think straight down works best. No tie backs.

I agree, no tie-backs. Eyelets are quite an informal style and tie-backs are more formal.
