Light fitting to go with grey walls??! Copper?

I bought a beautiful light fitting but my ceilings are too low and I now need a new one. I've painted hall, stairs and landing pavilion grey (F and B) and we are stuck with a striped stair carpet but wood hall floor. Pic of what I bought. 1950s house with 1930s look to it. What on earth will match/ tie in paint and the look together but also fit to ceiling and cover ugly ceiling roses which we can't remove - could with help but not currently so would like to cover them so a ceiling light flush to cover. Pic of my lovely light I can't have attached 😕. Plus carpet we have to keep for now

Marks and Spencer’s had a great sort of Sputnik type light fitting a while ago. Let me see if I can find it.

I don't know if the house is too old for that but hadn't thought to look on m and s. Husband will like that. He's still after a starburst clock

I'm struggling with a big enough flush but to cover the vile ceiling rose. It's about 8" diameter and horrid. There's loads of crystal ones with big flush bits but I do t want crystal. Back to trawling!

If your house is 1950s it's definitely not too old for a Sputnik style light.

I put copper lights over the island in my kitchen and they are fantastic, really eye catching, I think they would go lovely in your hall and really brighten it up.

Flush makes it difficult
