I'm wondering what mm underlay to get for stairs and bedroom. I was going to go for 11mm under the bedroom and the same for the stairs but heard I shouldn't go for anything more than 9mm for those.
Carpet is wool, berber, 5mm.
Any idea? I think 11mm will be fine in both areas as they only put the underlay on the steps, so I'm not sure what difference it will make.
