Help with cashmere colour please!

Hi, we're busy decorating our bedroom and we've gone gone for cashmere gloss finish on the furniture. At first I'd planned a grey carpet, with silvery grey wallpaper and light grey walls but now I'm wondering if that is the right choice! I'm worried cashmere will be too brown to blend with the grey, although it kind of depends on light whether it's grey or more neutral! The pic is a photo of the sample if the wardrobe door. Any thoughts please?

We have cashmere in kitchen and any greys made it look brown. But I loved the kitchen colour so I went with a very Tauoey grey (dulux pebble shore) and accent colours of green and dark coffee. Love it. Could also go dark blue with it, or bottle green, zingy lime green, or more muted sage green.
