What colour paint for kitchen?

The units are shaker style antique white (ivory). Thinking of a black or charcoal grey worktop.

It’s a converted garage with an overhang so the room is quite shady. Large south east window where overhang is, small north west window the other end. It’s a long, narrow room.

I want to avoid grey.

Pale green would be fresh and light

To be honest I’d avoid the dark work surfaces as they’ll absorb the light too much

The only thing with that is that a lot of the rest of the house is some shade of green (teal/turquoise/sage)

Don't for go dark worktops.
You will instantly darken even the brightest room.

What's the floor like?

Still deciding on the floor but it’s going to be Karndean

Very pale pink/very pale yellow?

I recommend asking farrow & ball. They were very helpful & suggested some complimentary colours for our kitchen island, I sent a photo of the floor & told them what direction windows were. Our kitchen is a F&B colour though
