Bathroom floor and tile combinations - Help!

We’re planning a new bathroom and I can’t decide what to do about the walls and floors. What I really want is to run the pale oak LVT flooring that will be in all the other rooms into the bathroom as well, because I like the continuity, but I also really like the look of Carrara marble (or, given our budget, Carrara marble effect tiles) on the wall, and I’m not sure the two would work together.

I’ve found a couple of images of similar mixes that look really nice, but not sure if I can pull it off in our much smaller, darker room!

The LVT we’ll be using is PolyFlor Camaro Loc Hickory Oak, which we already have elsewhere in the house, and the tiles would be similar to these ones

This is the sort of image I’ve seen. Any thoughts?

Can you get a tile sample and piece of floor and look at them together in the bathroom?

^Do this. Bring it home put it in you bathroom look at it in all light for a good week.
I found choosing wall tiles and floor tiles an absolute nightmare. I'm usually very decisive, my husband is also very decisive, on top of this he works in the very top end construction business and is extensively involved in the design side, we spent months agonising over bloody tiles. I begin to think I know every floor and wall tile in the world from the bargain basement to hand painted eye wateringly expensive ones. I could retile half the bathrooms in my village with the samples I've acquired over the years! Choice definitely isn't freedom.
In the end the builder couldn't start the bathroom because I couldn't find even acceptable tiles for either the floor or walls it was becoming ridiculous. In desperation we went to Mandarin Stone because it thought Id seen a wall tile that I might like on line but I hated it in the flesh but my eye was caught by one Id rejected on line and having found the wall tiles that are hopefully acceptable they then helped us choose the floor tile that worked with them not one I would have chosen before finding the wall tile but I hope I going to like it and even if I dont Im going to pretend I do Grin. So find one or other that you really like and then go from there.
Carrara marble or good copy is quite adaptable we seriously considered it and a good copy (you don't get those rust marks with a good copy) but it just didn't suit my house which is very very old. I'm beginning to think I must be very very fussy about this sort of ting and in the photo it looks ok to me most importantly if you like it go for it.

I’ve got Carrara marble on my bathroom walls and I love it. I think it needs a dark floor though; I wouldn’t put it with that pale wood colour. Sorry.
