IKEA Hemnes Daybed, which bedding?

Hi all,

I’ve recently purchased a second hand Ikea hemnes day bed and just wondered which bedding you use when the bed is fully extended?

Will a double sheet fit the two smaller mattresses?

Hi there. Both my girls had these beds when they were younger. They were great for sleepovers. We used to just use single mattresses on each bed. I think a double may be too tight but you'd have to check.

Just single sheet each.
Each mattress is 90cn so if you find 180cmsheet use that. Otherwise 2x 90cm and stack on top.

Sorry I meant to say single sheets on each mattress!

Double fits aswell

It used to be 2 80cm mattresses so 160cm in total, so kingsize bedding fits it. (Though because Ikea is metric it's not quite the same size).

The sizing may have changed since we bought ours, but worth measuring it before you buy any bedding of you've got an older one.

Oh sorry just realised we have used a king size not a double on it

We use king size bedding when It's extended
