Hi all, hoping you might have some ideas.
Ideally we want to sell and move to a bigger property, however due to the current situation this is unlikely to be any time soon. So I would like to decorate to make my house feel more homely.

It's a relatively new build, and we didnt really decorate after moving in so everything is very plain.

Living room is dark grey carpet, light grey sofa and white walls. Furniture is black wood. I have just bought some mustard yellow cushions for the sofa, but would like some inspiration for paint or wallpaper to help make the room flow.

I also want to paint or wallpaper the bedroom. Again, white walls and dark grey carpet (same carpet throughout the house). Curtains are like a duck egg blue colour, as is most of our bedding, and all furniture is painted white wood.

Apologies, pressed post too soon.
Meant to add, any ideas or inspiration would be very appreciated, and thank you in advance.

Most colours go with grey but yellow/mustard is very nice, if it's a light grey green and dark blue are lovely. White is a stark contrast, gold for lamps etc will work well with grey. It's such a versatile colour you can pick most colours though really and have some fun with it Smile
