Help! Laura Ashley Pale Chalk Pink discontinued

I painted my daughter’s room in Laura Ashley’s Pale Chalk Pink a few years ago and loved it. We’ve now moved house and I’d love to use it again but It’s not available anymore. Any recommendations for a peachy but not too bright pink? It’s similar to Farrow and Ball’s pink ground but not as peachy.

Little Greene Light Peachblossom or China Clay Mid.

Thank you! I love both of those but I don’t think they’ll be pink enough for my daughter.
I think I’ll go for Farrow and Ball pink ground. Any views on this?

Valspar have some great options.

There’s a new brand called Lick which have great colours

One of my favourites is Rosie posie by Earth Born

I’ve personally never liked using farrow and ball, love the colours just not the finish

I have pink ground on my bathroom woodwork and I am obsessed with it Grin I keep looking at all the other rooms with that colour in mind for when we redecorate 🥰

This website is useful for comparing paint colours, they don't have Laura Ashley though.

I needed to choose the paint quickly and none of the testers were right so I made the stupid mistake of choosing a paint from the chart without getting a tester. I went for Little Greene Dorchester Pink Pale which is lovely but has come out mauve. It doesn’t work with the woodwork - which is Slipper Satin but reads green in the room. I feel like such an idiot. So back to square one - I still need a chalky warm pink colour.

Calamine not work?

Uhohmummy · 18/06/2020 20:37

Calamine would work I think, but I was hoping for something a bit warmer/less grey toned. Pink ground may work too.

Johnstones rosebud comes in a chalky matt

Valspar will match your old Laura Ashley. They recently matched my Dove grey and Pale French Grey- better quality than LA in my opinion and scrubbable if you buy their V700 top range.

Hi I've just seen your post and hope that I am not too late. I wanted to let you know that I managed to buy a tin of the pale pink chalk at my local Brewers store today. I'm not sure whether you have tried there?

Go to B and Q and they will make it for you.
