Coat hooks?

I've just viewed a property and I love it!

The only thing bugging me is having nowhere to put coats/shoes. Hate clutter with a passion!

Will a coat hook behind this door be too much?

I think any more than one or two coats will mean you can't open the door fully which would drive me mad, but wouldn't bother other people.

I wouldn't let it out me off if I loved everything else though, I'm sure you could put coats/shoes some where else?

There's an under-stairs area in the lounge- maybe I can build this up somehow?

(The shit belongs to the workmen, not me😂)

That would be a perfect coat/shoe/buggy/sports equipment/general crap area. You can call it the 'boot room' and pretend you're super posh Grin

Or just get a coat stand and somewhere for shoes that can be closed like one of those IKEA benches and then you could leave the space open and not fill it with all the crap that normally gathers in the hallway (that's maybe just my dream!)

You could have under stairs storage built in to that space. It's big enough for a pull out rail for coats and pull out shoe and accessories storage plus room for other bits and bobs. It would be better to have it all out of sight as you have the space.

Out of sight sounds ideal...I have OCD, and, while I am recovering, clutter is still a trigger sometimes...

That would be a lovely boot room!
