I like it of course but wondering whether I should paint it white before we look to put it on the market. Have attached pics for reference!

Not sure.

People might think it's political.

I really want a purple front door but I worry people will think we're Kippers.

TiddyTid · 02/06/2020 15:09

Kippers?

TiddyTid · 02/06/2020 15:10

Sorry, also can't see pics OP 🙂

It's in keeping with the street but I'm not sure if it could come across as a bit over the top!

A red fence wouldn't put me off buying it, but I'd plan to paint it as soon as I'd bought it.

Oh no! Keeps saying success uploading pics but then cant see them! Will try again!

Wouldn't put me off buying if easily painted. Certainly wouldn't paint it white.

How is it in keeping with the street?

alexdgr8 · 02/06/2020 22:50

generally it's best to avoid outlandish or eccentric, excessively individual decor or appearance in selling property.
try to keep things neutral.
not sure where the fence is, but the usual creosote look is best i think.
