Has anyone ordered online from Ikea recently?

I’ve not ordered from Ikea before but am liking the look of some things so thought I might cheer myself up with a few bits.

The delivery charges seem to range from around £3.00 to £15 and I’m guessing I won’t know what the charge will be until I come to place the order.

Can anyone tell me how much their delivery charge was for what sort of size order? Also how long roughly is delivery in the current circumstances?

I ordered a desk and chair recently and it arrived when it said it would. I was happy with the delivery charge.

Moved house weekend before lockdown and kids needed beds and new furniture.
Order some decorative items alongside and delivery was quick within a week and approx £30.

Other items have taken longer to arrive due to delivery times but been informed all the way from checking out stage.

Only issue I had was some items are stated as not available but if they are in your basket and you try to checkout at different times then they are available so just bide your time.

I also placed two separate orders within a few days and they have added the second order to the first for delivery so I will get it sooner.

Have had no problems at all and am currently tracking my Ikea delivery due today and it is 6 stops away from me.

Been able to get beds, a sofa bed, wardrobe, shelves, desk, picture frames, toy boxes, and lights with a filament bulb immaculately packed.

Delivery is to the door as they are not entering houses which is understandable in the current circumstances.

My delivery apparently is going to take an estimated month to arrive, I know it's lock down but I only ordered cushion covers and other shops are getting stuff out within a week, bit annoyed. And yes the delivery charge changes with IKEA each tine I seem to check it x

Ordered around the time of lockdown cost was something ridiculous like £39. Took about 2 weeks to come.

Tried again yesterday and the was a bit cheaper but there's no stock...

Sorry hit reply before I'd finished! Delivery was quoted @ £29 but there is no stock. Desperate for 2 Ivar units

I had a delivery 2 months ago no problems, but a lot has changed since then. I was shocked at the delivery cost, but there's not a store local to me so actually it was worth it.

Stores aren't opening the end of next week. Some stores are now working to do online orders and are taking small numbers of workers back but actually opening for customers? No (except for limited stores with open Swedish Food Markets). I work for IKEA and I promise you we haven't fixed an opening date yet. Lots of plans, but no dates until the government announces relaxation of lockdown dates. We're not allowed to open as it stands at the moment.

2 x tables at almost £100 total.

Ugh I ordered a load of stuff a month ago that was supposed to arrive on the 1st May but the website lied to me! It’s actually going to arrive on the 17th. 😬

@DooDooDooDooooo Yes, and have been for a few weeks now (at least with some London stores) Originally opened to support NHS/key workers with staples (sourced bread and milk etc from restaurant suppliers) but now just generally open with social distancing rules. You'd have to check if your local store is doing it.
