What should this fitted kitchen cost?

Kitchen is small, 8m2. I want units / cupboards replaced, new worktops, ceiling and walls skimmed and painted. I don't want the oven, fridge or washing machine replaced... any ideas? Vinyl flooring already done. Not real wood for worktops just wood effect :-)

Midlands

I think it really depends on where you get it from! We're currently looking for a new fitted kitchen too, have been warned off wren by lots of people. Apparently IKEA is good quality for decent prices, we've been looking at B&Q aswell. There's so many but they're all pretty similar styles!

Thanks cosmo, what kind of prices have you seen?

I think standard 8units can start anywhere from 800+ but they are just the units, then you need worktops etc. IKEA prices are good but think the fitting is a nightmare as it's euro. B&Q aren't too bad but not sure what quality is like. I think it all adds up though. Especially if you want the fancy storage solutions! Best thing is to visit a few different showrooms when they're open with your basic layout and see what they can offer you

We're after a similar kitchen remodel on a smaller kitchen closer to 6m2. Having a kitchen planning appointment with Ikea today so I can let you know!
We will need flooring too and overall I expect the labour costs to outstrip that of materials.
Expecting about £5-6k
