I’d go for a soft monochrome look, with neutral off white walls, black metal and glass coffee tables and shelves and some wood to warm it all up. Add lots of velvet, linen, marble (lamps), glass (shelving) and plants/dried grasses.

I’d have one wall in something like Sulking Room Pink with similar accent cushions. And then copper or rose gold as the 10% accent.

I love dark interiors but as you mentioned you weren’t keen on them i found these on Pinterest that may inspire you?
