Ottoman Beds

Does anyone have an ottoman storage bed? Or are they too much hassle and prone to breaking?

I wouldn't lift up the storage regularly so not sure if that makes a difference?

Any other advice on ottoman beds would be welcome.

I bought one from Dreams 5 years ago, it's been put together, dismantled, moved house, then put together again. Totally solid. Wouldn't be without an ottoman, the space is invaluable to the point that Ill be buying another for the front room.

I love it. My bedroom is tiny (well tiny because I love my super king bed). I use it all the time. Bought from Wayfair and it's perfect.

Thanks KitKat

Yes I think the extra and out-of-sight storage is what's tempting me the most.

how often would you say you lift up the storage bit?

I love mine. Had it for years - very sturdy. Wouldn't buy a cheap one.
The storage space they provide is invaluable.

Oh I’ve just got one and I’m loving it. We had drawers before that were rubbish. Got it from Ikea. Got a new Eve mattress at the same time. The space it has under it is amazing, it’s very sturdy and easy to lift up.

The first two years I lifted it weekly. The last few years, maybe once a month?

All sounds positive so far.

Thank you everyone, you've helped me make my mind up to go ahead.
