Bedroom decor

Well have decided that when this is all over ( including my relationship!) I would love to give my bedroom a makeover to cheer me up.
The 3 things that have to stay are a dark wood super king size bed ( all for me now!) , white wood fitted wardrobes and a beige carpet.
I have a large angled bay window which currently just has white roller blinds on the 3 separate windows. Would love to have curtains to add depth and warmness to the room but the last time I had the window measured to have a curtain rail made to measure it was going to cost £300! One quote was from John Lewis and the other from an online company and I had to measure up the window myself.

I am open to suggestions of any colour scheme, wallpaper, bedside cabinets and lamps etc. Just want a completely new look.

Could you hang the curtains across the whole bay rather than put the track around it?. Bay windows are always expensive to dress.

Have you checked places like Dunelm for bay window curtain poles? They are naturally more expensive as they're more complex but it's completely do-able!
