Help with curtains

I have french doors in my kitchen. They are set in a recess which is the width of the doors. So my two options available are to have a curtain pole going between each wall of the recess that would allow either pencil pleat or eyelet curtains. Or I could get a ceiling hanging curtain track and get pencil pleat.

I have no experience of hanging curtains from the ceiling. Can anyone advise which would look best?

Try blinds to go for the wave curtains. I believe you can hang that track from the ceiling.

I too would go for a ceiling fix track, Ikea do them, assuming the doors open out?
