70's interior doors

Anyone with interior flair have any ideas how to decorate plain stained brown interior doors. Would chalk paint work? I don't want too replace them as it would cost too much. Thanks

Is it those shiny type doors? If so I think cupboard paint would be best as that covers shiny kitchen doors.

One small tin did two coats of my kitchen & there was still loads left in the tin. Applying in THIN coats with a FOAM roller worked best after giving a good clean. I didn’t need to sand first anything.

Ours have been painted with white gloss. I didn't realise they had once been brown until I took off a very old hook that was on the back of one of the doors.

Ours were painted with maroon gloss, so we just sanded them and painted them with white gloss.
