Which paint with this wallpaper?

I've looked at so many I've lost the plot!
We will have this paper on 1 wall. Sofa and carpet are cream. The wallpaper has a dove grey background. So could just go with grey but someone mentioned that grey may not go with the sofa and carpet?! The paint will be on the other 3 walls so don't want anything too overpowering.
Any inspiration welcome.

I'd pick out one of the colours in the wallpaper to paint the walls

I would go with an ivory colour like the the lower down birds chest...

Thanks for the ideas. If I chose a colour from one of the birds would it need to be exactly the same or could it be a more subtle version?
