Fence colour

We are getting new fencing which will probably be bright orange when it arrives. How long goes it take to weather to a nice natural wood colour? If we can’t wait for that and want to paint it, what colour is unobtrusive and will go with a light blue shed?

A pale grey or green khaki? A neighbour has all dove grey fencing and it gives me massive envy.

We've painted ours with Cuprinol Ducksback Silver Copse which is a lovely grey.

How can I change fence from cedar red to blue or green
