Cracked woodchip ceiling help!

We want to decorate our bedroom but unfortunately budget is not great and also can't exactly think of getting a plasterer out at the moment even if we wanted to! 😷

I think putting up wood chip wall paper should be a criminal offence but unfortunately most of my house (ceilings) is covered in it. My bedroom ceiling is and also is unfortunately quite cracked (plaster cracks, not serious) and wondered if anyone had any tips or advice for making this looking a bit better until we have the money and inclination to sort it out properly thanks in advance

Nothing will make it look much better. You can’t patch up wood chip imo. Leave it and save for professional replastering/redecoration.

Polyfilla?

The cracks aren't that deep, I think I may give it a go, we've had 2 rooms plastered (down stairs) and just can't face it again at the moment

And can I recommend the easy sand polyfilla, it is really easy to work with. Good luck!
