Thoughts on natural calico

I'm thinking of painting my living room-come-dining room natural calico but I can't get a tester pot to try it. Has anyone used it in their home and if so did it turn out well? My living room gets good light in 50 per cent of it where the window but elsewhere, ie where the dining table, it doesn't get much light.

I had thought about Egyptian Cotton but I reckon it will be too dark.

Any input gratefully received.

Had natural calico in my old house and it’s really lovely. Go for it.

We used to have natural calco in our house years ago.. It a nice plain colour. Egyptian cotton had a grey/dirty cast to it in our room.. I ended up changing it..

Yeah it's really good

Not too cold, not too warm (some head to peach and as an 80s teen I have a real aversion !)
Goes with everything
Good in most lights
Vv happy with it

Have a go tbh if you don't like it, you've got time to try something else Grin

Thanks everyone. Going to order it along with some paper for a feature wall. Will post the results but it may take some time as I've got a toddler who will be keen to 'help' Smile
