If you look at the customer reviews there is a picture there with white grouting. The b&q picture shows grouting.

Which colour grouting would you go for? I am paralysed with procrastination...

Lol OP I like the grey in the pic. White looks a bit stark and dated?

Houseworkavoider · 12/03/2020 20:16

I would choose a light/mid grey because it looks nice and white grout is a bugger if you get a spot of mildew!

Karwomannghia · 12/03/2020 20:20

I’d always go for darker. Looks better, for longer.

Absolutepowercorrupts · 12/03/2020 20:25

I prefer to have grouting that matches the tiles. If you go for white all you'll see is the white grout. I think that to show off the tiles then matching grout is better.
I seem to be alone in this though!!

Wenx · 12/03/2020 20:26

If you have to have those tiles, the grey grouting looks better.

That said, the grey fad really, really, needs to go away! Is here no other colour you like??

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 12/03/2020 20:29

Im chuckling. I didnt think at 27 minutes past 8 on a thursday night i would be reading a thread about grout.
But you got me with the title 😂.
Definitely grey over white. Easier to look keep clean.

user14366425683113 · 12/03/2020 20:30

Grey. No contest.

BearimyJeremy · 12/03/2020 20:31

White would be fine.

penberrh · 12/03/2020 20:38

It seems to me that the greys have it!

I didn't think I'd be posting a thread about grouting at 8.30pm on a Thursday either. Sometimes I find it hard to believe how rock and roll my life is.

Thanks all :D

Hi op grey is the best on those tiles. We have the same ones in our 2 bathrooms which was done by B&q last year and it’s looks really nice with grey.

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 12/03/2020 21:05

@penberrh

Enjoy grouting Smile dont go too mad now!
(Visions of Ozzy Osbourne going up and down B&Q looking for Sharon) 😂

Bluesheep8 · 14/03/2020 07:42

Grey all the way!

Bluesheep8 · 14/03/2020 07:44

Maybe a slightly lighter grey than the tiles. There is a grout colour called silver grey which would be just the job here.

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 15/03/2020 20:59

So i seen this article in the Echo.. got to the bathroom picture and what did i notice due to this thread?! Grin

The title caught my eye. I think the grey.

On a different note our tiler has just gone into isolation for two weeks. We have no shower. No bath. It is our only bathroom. The main thing is that his family get through this. He has three kids and parents and FIL all living on the same farm.
We have had no shower for five days. Stop wash in a wash bowl. I have now self isolated as he was here on Saturday.

MissyNomer · 18/03/2020 03:33

My preferable is the same grey as the tiles.

GlamGiraffe · 18/03/2020 03:41

Grey for me.
Find somewhere selling mapei grout and take a tile. They do loads of colours in subtle shade differences. They font fade, stain or get mouldy form experience and I think you'll probably find the perfect shade for you as there is a lot of variety.
White or a light contrast will show up every mark and it will really show against those tiles. If you have a builder depot nearby they stock it, a lot of indepent tile shops do it too. Its displayed in little blocks as the grout joins between tiles would be so you get an excellent idea. Definitely the best brand going I'd say

sunshinemachine · 18/03/2020 04:10

Grey deffo

MrsTerryPratchett · 18/03/2020 04:24

We have similar but nicer and dark grey grout. White is awful and light grey can look dirty.

penberrh · 18/03/2020 19:40

That made me laugh MrsP!

Tiler has put them up. Feck, they're dark. Looked much lighter in the shop but I think once you get them all together.....

Ah well. Worse things happen at sea.

Thanks for all the input!
