Toy story bedroom ideas

Oh wise design people

I'm doing a toy story bedroom for my toddler. So far I have the blue walls with clouds mostly done, green army men transfers on the walls, planning to redo the curtain pelmet in cow print, and have a few toy story accessories. Carpets are new and curtains are floor length blackout so not looking to replace. It's a good size second bedroom.

Does anyone have any other ideas I could incorporate? I've been all over pinterest and Google, I'm a little stumped!

This is more for me than him, I find the whole decorating and planning and crafting good for my mental health. Have some vague plans for the next few rooms of the flat already too!

Cushions in toy story print, or like this www.dunelm.com/product/disney-toy-story-mr-potato-head-cushion-1000150382

Ah, that sounds lovely OP. I love doing things like that too.

What about a sherrif star rug (if there is such a thing) or some star shaped fairy lights?

I made a comic book name sign for my DS's bedroom (using pages from Marvel comics) but if there's a toy story magazine/wrapping paper or something you could use that. It was easy to do. Cardboard 3D letters from Hobbycraft to spell out the name, cover them in the patterned paper, then use modge podge glue to gloss over it. I'll try and find a link for you, I got the idea from Pinterest (where else?!).

The sign is on craftcuts.com OP - "How to make DIY comic book letters".

my friends ordered a massive toy story wall paper for one room of their son’s bedroom: life size woody & all the gang. It works quite well if you’ve got a square wall and you can order them in different sizes from Ebay. Might be a bit too late for what you’re planning now though.

Ah I have the buzz and woody cushions from primark already! And the alien toy basket from dunelm!

I really like the letters idea, thanks! I'll see what papers I can get, love some hobby craft shopping! Fairy lights are a good shout too, we dont have any in here yet.

Sorry I know this is an old post, but would you mind telling me what shade of blue you used for the walls? Thanks 🙂
