We have two sofas with loose washable covers which are a bit shabby now. As new covers cost nearly as much as new sofas I'm looking at both options.
Most people seem to have fixed covers, which look better than removable ones, but how do you cope with spills, dirty paw marks and cats scratching? Are nice sofas incompatible with kids and pets?
