If you have a chaise longue, do you actually use it?

I'm in the process of doing up my bedroom and think a chaise longue would look lovely next to my dressing table in a corner which I don't normally utilise (used to have a wardrobe there). But my question is, do you actually use yours? Is it just for show? I love the idea of sitting on it to read but realistically with a young child and another in a few years time, I'm unlikely to have much time to do said reading Confused

Mine just gets clothes chucked on it! It is in my dressing room though so somewhere that I wouldn't normally sit. It does look fab though (minus the clothes!)

I have to admit I don't sit on mine much. It looks pretty though!

1 on the hallway it gets used for coats sometimes dd sits on it to get her shoes on.

I have one in my dressing room come home office. Jim jams go on there as does the dog when I'm working from home. We didn't need a bed in there (is also the box room) so I felt a chaise would look better.

Looks pretty, but it's vintage and very uncomfortable!

Yes! Have one in the bedroom in the bay window. Use it for reading. Needs reupholstering as it's a bit lumpy though...

Not really! I did have it in my bedroom but it became a clothes mountain on legs. It’s in the dining room/study now and is a paper mountain on legs.
I still love it though.

Cats sleep on it sometimes.

In laws looks lovely in dining no room. Neither chaise langue or dining room is used.

Friend has one in her study, she lies on it to think (sleep).
