Updated Bathroom?

My bathroom is the most tired room in the house.

How can I update cheaply as a temporary measure.

I am thinking of those stick on tiles, does anyone have any experience of them ?

New towels? Repaint? Accessories?

I really like those labeled shampoo and conditioner bottles, but are they a bit to 'mrs Hinch'?

We're in exactly the same position; want to spruce up the bathroom cheaply for a few years until we can afford to rip it all out and have it done properly.

Our to do list is: Paint the walls - changing colour to lichen green,
Fill holes in ceiling and paint. Fresh white,
Gloss the wood work. Fresh white,
Paint over the eighties tile boarder with tile paint, darkish grey. Have removed the previous occupants stick on tiles as they kept having to be re stuck,
Paint the radiator. Same colour as the tiles,
Get some new towels reasonably priced towels. Dunelm or similar. Possibly grey or white.

Should make it look more pleasant and be under around £200 depending on how many towels we buy.
I'm not going for matching accessories because they look a bit naff or as you put it 'Mrs Hinch'
